Which number is a charge?
MAG7X’s trading tax follows its contract settings. Changing slippage in the trade desk does not change that tax rate.
The desk uses Flap’s bonding curve, a formula that prices trades from the token’s trading reserves. On this route, Flap applies token tax alongside its protocol fee. The quoted output already reflects those trading charges; subtracting the tax again would count it twice.
Gas is separate. It pays for processing a transaction on BNB Chain and is paid in BNB. The desk’s price preview appears before wallet and gas checks, so the output alone is not a complete spending budget.
What does 2% slippage allow?
Suppose a hypothetical buy quote shows 10,000 MAG7X. At 2% tolerance, the desk sets the minimum received to 9,800 MAG7X. These are example amounts, not a live quote.
The 200-token difference is room for the result to change before execution. It is not an extra payment sent somewhere. Receiving 9,950 would still be above that floor; choosing 2% does not require losing the full 2%.
The desk passes this minimum into the swap. If the trade cannot meet it, the swap cannot complete on those terms. A transaction that fails onchain can still spend gas.
What should I check before changing the setting?
Compare “You receive” with “Minimum received” and decide whether that lower amount is acceptable. Raising tolerance permits a worse result. It does not improve the quoted price, reduce the trading tax or guarantee success.
If a quote expires or a trade fails, refresh and read the message before changing anything. A missing approval or insufficient BNB needs a different response. Slippage controls the acceptable output, not every condition needed to trade.
