What happens when MAG7X's reserve buys a stock token?

Follow a supported stock token from a seller's wallet into the MAG7X reserve, see where the BNB comes from and understand what changes onchain.

When MAG7X's reserve completes a supported stock-token purchase, BNB leaves that asset's acquisition bucket, the seller receives the quoted BNB and the stock token enters the reserve contract. The new balance can then be checked onchain and in a later dated reserve report.

First, trading funds a buying budget

MAG7X is the BNB Chain token people buy and sell. Its Strategic Reserve is a separate contract. Part of the tax on MAG7X trades contributes BNB to that reserve, where the acquisition funding is divided among eight supported stock-token buckets.

A funded bucket means the reserve has BNB available for a particular supported asset. It does not mean the asset is already held. That distinction is why the site reports acquisition budget and stock assets held separately.

A seller completes the other side

The reserve does not turn BNB into stock tokens by itself. A holder of a supported stock token must request a quote and offer an amount the vault can currently accept.

The contract checks the selected asset, available bucket budget, current phase and configured pricing rules. If the seller accepts the quote and the transaction succeeds, three observable changes follow:

  1. the supported stock token moves from the seller to the reserve;
  2. BNB from that asset’s bucket is paid to the seller;
  3. the reserve’s stock-token balance rises while its remaining acquisition capacity falls.

Each asset has its own bucket. Unused budget for NVDAon, for example, does not automatically create room for TSLAon. The supported-assets guide identifies the eight BNB Chain contracts the reserve is configured to accept.

What changes for MAG7X holders?

The purchase adds an external asset to the separate reserve. It does not distribute stock tokens to MAG7X wallets and does not turn MAG7X into company equity.

What it does create is an onchain result of the reserve mechanism. A reader can compare the deployed reserve contract with the dated reserve report to see the BNB budget and supported balances. The report’s timestamp matters because another trade can change them later.

Where the cycle can go next

During a later liquidation phase, the direction can reverse. Available stock tokens may be sold for BNB under the vault’s rules. That BNB can enter the conditional MAG7X buyback-and-burn path described in the reserve lifecycle guide.

No future acquisition, liquidation or buyback should be assumed before its transaction exists. The useful feature is that each stage has something concrete to inspect: a funded budget, a seller quote, a vault balance or a completed onchain transaction.

If that mechanism is what interests you in MAG7X, the trade desk lets you preview the token side with a BNB amount before connecting a wallet.
