Two products with a similar name
Both names refer to the Magnificent Seven companies plus SpaceX, but the products work differently.
MAG7X on BNB is one tradeable token launched through Flap. Trading taxes help fund a separate Strategic Reserve that can buy supported stock tokens. Buying MAG7X puts MAG7X in your wallet. It does not place Apple, Tesla, SpaceX or other company assets in your wallet.
Bitwise Mag7X ATP is one of Bitwise’s Automated Token Portfolios. Bitwise describes an ATP as a published model portfolio. An independent implementation platform can rebalance supported tokenized stocks in an eligible user’s own wallet toward that model. It is not the MAG7X token and it does not use the MAG7X reserve.
There is no affiliation between the two projects.
What do you hold?
With MAG7X on BNB, you hold a BNB Chain token identified by one contract address. The reserve is a different contract with its own BNB budgets and stock-token balances. The MAG7X overview explains the distinction between the token, the vault and the assets the vault may acquire.
With the Bitwise ATP, eligible users hold the portfolio’s underlying tokenized assets in the wallet used by its implementation platform. Bitwise publishes the model rather than issuing a second version of this MAG7X token.
That difference matters when searching, adding an asset to a wallet or reading a transaction. A shared theme does not make two blockchain products interchangeable.
How to identify MAG7X on BNB
Use the network and full contract, not the name alone:
0xd40ccf3e065b1686eb683516e94357de0ac77777
The address should match on the MAG7X BscScan page, the verified Flap page and this website. The contract-verification guide gives a short three-place check.
If MAG7X on BNB is the product you intended to find, you can enter a BNB amount in the trade desk and inspect a current quote before connecting a wallet.
